Hi,
Im new here, my names Giz, Im from Bray-in Ireland. Been doing poi since reclaim the streets in may 2002 where a really cool spanish girl called Christina taught me the corkscrew...
Progress was slow for the first year because I didnt have anything to learn from so I had no idea what to do.
Luckily a mate of min got a book and I logged on here and now Im getting better...(Still sure theres lots of stuff left for me to learn tho!!!YAY!!!)
Anyway, hopin to meet some like minded types, esp round he dublin area, so give us a shout..

Hello there, and how are you?!!
Nice to meet you, yep there's definitely a few of us around at the minute.
There's Aidan and Sarah in Cork (but Aidan's in New York, he'll be back soon though)
Lisa, Laura, Helen and Martin in Dublin (? have I forgotten anyone?!! Don't think so, but Helen and Martin are at Burning Man)
And then there's me, Clare, up in Belfast.
We all do poi, apart from Aidan, who does staff and a bit of poi.
We're going to be meeting up again soon, I'm sure, so keep an eye on the Irish thread for dates and times.
