so i reckon this thread will hold a record of the new things and stuff im learning along the way, all input of any kind is welcome...

*where was I? oh yeah here, The elbow, arm, arm elbow roll*
Its simple really, I cant do it.
I've seen some real nice clips of this move (Thankyou MCP/Glass) but I still seem to be missing somthing fundamental.
So I take the staff in my right hand, bring it accross my body under my extended left elbow and roll. extend left arm and let staff roll onto right arm. Bring staff back towards body on right arm
Now here is the problem, it just stops working there, I think i might be missing an extra beat/spin or something. Or it it could be the position of my wrist. Dont ask me what my wrist is doin, it goes all wonky in a natural reaction to the feeling of the staff falling off when i start bending my right arm on the way back in,
Any ideas?
If I can get this I'll move onto to trying to combine it with a shoulder rool and a turn to get it across my back and other shoulder.
I'm hoping to put up a clip soon, not of what i cant do but of what I can, after six months it's be cool to get some HOP feedback.

well now that ive got that out of my system perfection is an ideal if ppl only put perfect stuff online there would be a very very very small number of videos online none of which would be mine. perfections a cool goal to strive for so long as it doesnt stop you progressing. besides how else are u going to get feedback if u dont post a video?

honestly you do not want to see a vid. I will bring my camera down this weekend and I can take a few small clips if we do anything. Think ado_p is right though shouldnt put none perfect stuff up on the net.

I have never record myself spinning. only clip on it is me being cocky thinking i could snowboard a full slope after 3 hours and been proved badly wrong as i tumble down.
I'll bring it with me and we can see what happens.dont think i deserve a vid after 5 months tho so it will be all you ado

u realise the more u protest the more im going to want to see a video, miss FNF told me she had nothing she could teach me in doubles when i met her so no doubt u can imagine how ripped off i felt when i saw the video of her lovely doubles set. analysing video for technique helps me improve my own so either way shoot it and put it up you can just email it to me if u dont want to stick it on hop

go on 5months is fine for a vid :P (7months for moi) ok so my vid is messy and stuff but it did help to get some feedback
on that note, i got the dv cam off college again, so there might be a new one from me soon.....maybe, but for nothing else watchin a vid of your self is damn usefull.
oh ado and feartine i wanna see the vid too please if it gets made

yeah ben-ja-men, until you learn to pose perfectly, I don't want to see your vids anymore. Was there something you were doing with your hands in them? I can't remember, anyway, it was distracting from the posing. Cut it out.

dont know how long the camera will shot for but guess were doing a vid. it will come with a health warning though.

Its a nikon 3200 digital camera, 3.2mill pixels with a 258Mb card.picture is pretty clear and its got sound but maybe we should put it off til we get a digi camcorder
