hey, is there anyone on HOP who is currently or shortly will be living in holland? just moved back home and i havent found the spinning community yet
spinning on my own is fun, but, ya know, i gotsta find some, umm, colleagues (?).. identify yourselves! im lonely

Yes people, intercultural beats! And international friendship building with our neighbours to the east!!! How can you not go!?!
Thomas, I will be there, but an ex-colleague of mine is celebrating his birthday there so I can't really run away from the party for very long, AND i don't have much time to be there anyway due to huge stress at work & trying to graduate as well ...
BUT I shall hunt for poi-like people and come and say hello at the very least. Until Sunday!

Hey there!
There will be a CS gathering on the saturday 7th of july during the Tropical Festival happening in the Botanische Tuin (Botanical garden) on the University center Uithof in Utrecht. Would be nice to meet with some fellow spinners there.
It is a festival with Indonesian and Surinamese music, food and worshops and there is an entrance fee of 5€. The official starting time is 12 am and closing time is 11 pm... If you want to join you will certainly recognize our group by the red CS banner we will be carrying around...and of course the spinning people around it!

Hey guys, who knows on what day they're going to castlefest?
I've seen the set up on the main stage, it's on the site at "Listening" But I discovered that there's only one fire show on friday! Last year there was a fire show every night! Does anyone know more about that? Because I want to see it, but I wanted to go on saturday.

There is a full moon party at the beach of Scheveningen at the 28 of july. It's a huge fire spinner gatering, so maybe it will be fun to have a big meeting there?
What do you guys think?

i was planning on going to castlefest, didn't even know there were gonna be poi-players
anyway, had to let it go because i have to help here for a local event called 'breevenement' and otherwise there would've still been reggae geel, timing is a bit unfortunate for me

ok, i know this may sound weird but i suddenly realise by looking at this thread that i had a dream last night of me driving to Utrecht :d:p, but i still think utrecht is pretty far just to meet some other poi-spinners and practice and socialise, do some of you know some other meetings that are closer to or maybe even in belgium?

castlefest was really cool, and i loved it, I'm going to bed now, because 3 days of spinning is to much for me :P
The fire show on Saturday was really great. 8 great artists performing together, it was just beautiful to see that

I've been searching for other spinners for a while now.
I'd love to meet up with all of you haha...I've been spinning for about a year but to be perfectly honest....there have been gaps of like 5 moths...so in truth, I've only been spinning a couple of moths.
I'd love to have some spinners with experience giving me pointers and just being able to see some other spinners at work.
(al met al, ben ik heel blij te zien dat er meetings plaats vinden...en het lijkt me echt heel leuk om er eens een bij te wonen. dat is eigelijk alles wat ik te melden had hahaha...)
