Hi
I thought I'd sign up cos I don't know any fire twirlers at the moment...which is a sad state of affairs.
I'd like to know if anyone would be willing/interested to fire twirl at my wedding in Perth...I see there seems to be a bit of a Perth contingent on this site, which is nice. My wedding's on the Friday 27th August (this year!) down at City Beach.
I would try and call around and talk to friends to see if they knew anyone except that I'm in London (till August)!
Anyone interested, please drop me a line and let me know how much it would cost. ... I am trying to support local people! The Sambanista drummers are playing too (I'm one of them) so it would be groovy to have some poi action too...

Oh, i'd love to - But i leave Perth for London on the 18th of August so just miss out
I'll also ask around fire circles for people for you tho before i go, and see who i can round up

Another idea is, if you are a Sambanista, do you know Etienne? I know, there are quite a few sambanistas, but hes been doing it quite awhile? He comes and drums for us at our South Beach fire gatherings during summer when the weathers nice, and so he might be able to round up a few more fire people as well

Regular Twirls are on Monday nights at South Beach (from about 9pm) though in winter it seems to die off alittle (people are too chicken to face the cold night) and Tuesday nights at Mount Lawley in Hyde Park from about 8:30pm.
