Hiya, I'm new here, so I spose I'd better do the compulsory intro
. I'm Jen. I'm 17 and mostly I spin gymnast &rhythm ribbons. I'm currently learning to spin poi, my boyfriend is teaching me as he's pretty good, but I'm really just a total n00b at that

Yeah it's kinda unfair really, 'cause I don't think I've ever met anyone that spins ribbons, only poi. It's a bummer that I'm all alone where I am

I always thought that the ribbon spinning was cool, I've just never been into gymnastics so I really can't make it look right. Do I get extra points because they have three tails a piece?

ooh multi tails! I like them, probably the set I'll be getting when the time comes to buy them. The rainbow ones? with the different colour ribbons? they're so the sex! My ribbon is a plain purple satin, though I'm concocting onf that will be triple threaded in pink green and blue

Mine are Kiwido's and they the tails are red, orange and yellow. Thank you Mech!!!!!
The new ribbons sound great, and given time you will be able to spin them as well as you make them.

Yeah, I'm pretty good with the ribbon, just learning the poi now
Hopefully I'll be able to spin as well as I create soon, but my ultimate goal would be a fire ribbon. I'm currently workin on that one...just got to work out a safe mixture of lightable section and inflammable section 
otherwise things could get very nasty

I liked watching the ribbon twirling at Gymnastics. I had a friend in 'nastics, but she didn't do the the extra fun stuff. I would have done it but my parents were afraid after they saw a girl land on top of her head on the balance beam.

They are kindof (but not really) like across between ribbons and poi...
