Hello, thank you for being so friendly, I feel very welcome. I did'nt mean to be secretive so here goes.
I do like marmite, especially on crumpets, and especially on crumpets with white stilton and apricot cheese. I drink coffee, and peanut butter is nice on toast but it's a bit sticky in a sandwich. My fave colour is black, sometimes red, purple or very bright pink, but mostly black.
I have been spinning poi since Feb. I made my own out of tennis balls but they are very good, I put fishing swivels on them. I've got some fire poi but they have cables and are too long. I have to figure out how to refasten the cable after I have shortened it.
I have been working through the Michael Kahn book and have mastered most of the stuff in the first bit, up to and including the fountain. I need to work on my turns a bit more.
Well thats me, hopefully I will be here a lot and get to know all of you,
please excuse me if I get everything wrong, I only just got an e-mail address recently, so I've only been doing message boards and stuff for a couple of days although I've been on the net for a while.

Hello.
I think I better say hello again. I joined this site a few months ago and then got ill. So I did'nt do any poi for a while and I was too depressed about not doing poi to come here and talk about it.
But now I'm better and I have picked up my poi again. (I am still rubish at it, but never mind) So now I'm back.

Not all that far away, sort of north west toward Carmarthen.
Are you Welsh? or do you just live here? I thought I was just living here and then I found out that I'm a quater Welsh, (Welsh enough to be in the rugby team!) It's done my head right in!

I'm kind of an "import". My Father was born and lived in North Wales, he moved away for work. I was born and raised in England but moved to Wales about 10 years ago.

I met some jackdaws in India. I don't think i have any photos though.
I have a picture of me sitting with a female langur monkey though if that's any good?

Yes, it's small and it's dark but it's the beat I can do.
My old avatar was a bit small. I love that painting but at that size it don't do it justice. I'm glad you like the new one.
I spent ages tonight 'colouring in' a bit of a picture by that nice Mr. Beardsley. (ohmygod! desecration.)
