Hey fluffy-giggle-pops!*:.
Brrrrrrrrr…. There’s a bit of a chill brewing in the air*:. …So it must be time for our Warm Fuzzy Winter Moon Fests!
Get out all your warm things, and fuzzy wuzzy winter woolies ‘cause there’s still loads of fun things to do this season!*:.Warm Fuzzy Moonfest Dates…..:*
*:. Thursday 3rd June (moon in Sagittarius)
*:. Friday 2nd July (moon in Capricorn)
*:. Sunday 1st August (moon in Aquarius)
*:. Monday 30th August (moon in Pisces)
…. And don’t forget SUNfest in the afternoon prior to each moonfest at the moonfest sight, Moora Park (lower level) Shorncliffe foreshore… Bring your drums, twirling
and juggling gear

*:. Winter solstice is 21st June so keep your eyes and ears open for Gatherings or create your own!J)

1. move & groove - creative dance for adults with disabilities…Mon 10:30-12:00 $10 or $45 for 5 weeks in advance (please book & you may need a support person for maximum benefit)
2. spiral dance - for adults of all ages…Tuesdays 7-8:30pm…$12/10 of $55 for 5 weeks in advance
3. the magic of movement - creative dance for kids… Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm…$8 or $35 for 5 weeks in advance

Well that should keep us all busy and warm over winter*:.
Wasn’t the last moonfest just magical?*:. A lot smaller crowd with so many luscious beautiful people… It felt cozy… such a lovely friendly vibe.. We did a simple fire interpretation of the dragon eating the moon for the lunar eclipse… though most of us piked before the actual eclipse at sunrise… Did anyone sick around or get up early for it? A huge thanks to Café on the Park for staying open for us to midnight feast.:*

can you tell i've had a bit of a slow dull week?? there will be two highlights this week - moonfest (of course!) and buying my supergrass ticket yesterday!!!

we are staying the night at the pixie palace in the kombi of kool and then picking up mech on the monday after I have visited my nanna....I cant WAIT!!

.:*BIG GRIN*:. I had a lovely moonfest (and beautiful next day....thanks valura and arsn
) I got to play with some of my most favoritest friends and eat cake like goblins (.:*hmmmm I'm looking for a packman smilie *:.) and do some fire swirlin 
and drummin...and boogeyin and then the next day we made Valura beautiful rainbow felted pixielocks...and now she's the prettiest dreadie princess chicken i've ever seen!!!

hehe*:... yeah, it was a good night... yeah, you like the pressie I made Valura (it kinda reminds me of her old avatar
) So the story with the ruddy landscaping thing in the way of our lovely moonfest space...is that it's probably going to be there 'till 08/10/04

no fair!! dang council!! (i'm assuming it's them doing the landscaping!!)ah well - we'll just have to have a huge 'welcome back to the old moonfest spot' celebration when we can use it again!!!
we'll invite everyone from hop, get as many drummers as possible and try for an all night fire fest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it'll be okay pixie!!

hmmmmmm I was thinking... since the spring moonfest (not this moonfest but the one after in Sep) will still be at the beacon... maybe in stead of lighting the fire ('cause it'll probably be warmer by then) I was thinking perhaps we could make the metal frame around the beacon into like a flower bud lantern!!! To represent new beginnings ready to bloom into springtime!!! we could tape coloured paper or something onto the frame and put a few citronella candels inside to luminate it.... and maybe make a fairy circle around the beackon with flowers for us all to dance and play in around the flowerbud lantern!!!

yeahhhh sorry 'bout that ....I did come down (at around 10pm ) after a gig down the coast... I was driving as fast as my little pixiemobile would take me (well as fast as the speed limit would allow anyways 
) to try and get back in time to see all your lovely faces.... there were a few die hard moonfest goers still troopin on... to spite the cold cold wind and spashy waves .... but after doing the rounds of hellos and byes 
I cruised on home to my nice cozy bed too *:.Next moonfest is SPRING!!! YAY!!!
