Posted: hiho, who can help me and share his/her experiences of sparkling pois? how do you make them (all i know is that it takes "steel wool" - in german "stahlwolle", dont know the english word... - instead of kefla)? how far do the sparks reach? how far away from the audience should i position myself? it would be great if someone could help, or tell me, who i could ask! thanks, jana firstname.lastname@example.org
Posted: I made mine out of a bird feeder - cut it in half, fold the ends over then stuff with wire wool. Add a bit of coat-hangar wire so you have something to clip onto, light it and off you go. In my experience, the sparks will fly anything up to about 40-50ft in every direction!!!
