Hay hello how are ya'll? well as i said in my thread a wee while ago... my feet begine to itch. ow and no i dont have some icky feet fungus...i dont think... anyways i love my home very much, but im just longing to travel sooo much. i want to go every where. travel the world! iv always wanted to go somewhere and live for a wee while. i was thinking maybe somewhere in USA just a little town like nelson, or maybe some where over the other side. Scotland, Ireland area. iv had a few custermers come into work, the first one was scottish and i said that i was kinda thinking of heading somewhere over there to live for a wee while, and she said go to Ireland. the second one came it to my other job and i was chating to her and she said the same thing. that altho it was wet it was just such a lovley place. the 3rd were husband and wife form Ireland and i hit them up about it too. least be said they encarnted me with their storys. saying that the males over there were charming (to witch i replied anyone that speeks to me with that gorguse accent will have me smiten) they said theres a saying over there "charm the pants off you" witch we have here to but use diffeantly. and that that was what they tryed to do and their ambition in life.
but mostly i want to go over there because i here that people are just so lovely. and that the except anyone... and party heaps! (alto as im not much of a beer drinking i might put myself to shame...)
anyways im and really thinking that itd be great to move over there and was wondering if there where any hoppers from Ireland or that have been to Irland etc and if you could tell me alittle more about it (coz i really dont no that much) and where would be a nice place to go.... that type of thing. so if you could thatd be grate

It's a cool place, but the cost of living is quite high at the moment. I suppose we're used to it by now, but everyone that's been here lately tends to agree that everything is on the expensive side.
But don't let that put you off, you will get a job, of some sort. Are you looking for something specific or would bar/restaurant stuff do? There are thousand of Aussies & Kiwis here, and they're all working, so it shouldn't be any different for you. You will need a visa though, you'll need to check that out from your side, as I'm not too sure of the particulars.

I'm sure it's changed a lot since then, but I still regard it as one of the most amazing places I've ever been to.

Lots of folks from down your neck of the woods move here or to the UK for a year or so and then travel Europe from here, it's much easier to get to around.

Ahhhhh... just can't resist.. gotta tell ya just how cool Edinburgh in Scotland is.... very very very very cool..... Decided about a year and a half ago now that I would venture over to the UK... was tossing up between Ireland and Scotland... having no contacts in either country I wasn't biased in anyway... ended up going to Edinburgh.. cos I had heard what a magical place it was.... was going to go for a few months... and ended up staying a year!!
It is the most amazing place for spinners..... there is a huge community of incredible fire people over there... and all very friendly and inviting... The best thing is there is a regular Monday night in the meadows get together to do fire.. and it continues right through the winter... even when it snows!!! In fact one of our best nights was just after it had snowed.. everyone turned up and we had lots of fun spinning fire whilst dodging snowballs... !!
So from my experience... I would totally say go to Edinburgh.. you'll love it.. if u love fire twirling... !! I am heading back that way for the second half of the year... can't wait!!

Good luck on your choice though... either way.. travelling is sooo much fun... !!!
