Badger in Welsh is either Broch (ch in welsh makes a soft version of the noise teenage boys make when trying to rake up phlegm from the back of your throat to spit at you and the o is pronounced as it would be in not or more) or mochyn daear (mochyn being the welsh word for pig and daear meaning earth/soil)

A Brock(en) on the other hand in German means chunk and is often used for fat babies
