Hey Everyone...
Just a few quick words to say hi and to introduce myself a little..
Well, im a 21 year old female who lives in Brisbane Australia but hails from Masterton in New Zealand..
I have been playing sticks for the past 7 months now, my friend Allie taught me and I love her for it. My fav toy is the short staff, although I have recently bought a new stick that has a lot more length on it and its been interesting to use the two... I also use poi and devil stix and can juggle like a demon...not... I work for an insurance company by the day but during my spare time I work in a lot of mystic fairs doing readings with tarot and palms and auras and such...My fav book is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson...and also a book Im reading at the moment called "Crossing Over" by john Edwards the medium guy off the telly... The highlight of my life to date was running into The Tea Party after their brisbane concert and hanging out with the drummer Jeff Burrows for beers... That was great.. I saw Tool play the other night and I can say without a doubt that the concert was one of the best I had been to in a long time..go if you get the chance...

OH Josette... so nice to meet you!!!
I was sooo stoked to have met Jeff.. he was the loviest guy and bouight us beers and hung out with us... it was amasing... He was completly down to earth and friendly and in such a great mood considering how tired he must have been...

I have no idea where tannum sands is... sorry I just kinda follow my nose when I driving and If I get there than that is fantastic.
There are heaps of poi gatherings... but no tournaments that I have heard of...

Sounds like a good idea. I'll join you next year. Poi throwers all over. How beautiful would that be. What is the largest group of spinners you've ever been in? I think it would be extraordinary to gather as many spinners as possible in one spot and burn up the skys. That may be better than a tourny? What do you think? Sounds like a thread maybe?

Had a great time last night twirling and learning new tricks with burnt_ones ropedart which I must admit is an impressive piece of work.....
lovely Fire dancing fairy came to play and she is such a fast learner!!! Im am very proud of you Miss C... <---look its YOU!!!
I hope that you come and play again on sunday it would be just great to see you there!!!

Patience is a virtue... and Free Hosting is a pain in the bum. One day I'll pay for some hosting and then earn the right to complain.
Its just slow, give it some time or try refresh. Speaking of slow, HoP seems quicker now.

i mean i know they are tasty but not THAT much better than penguins(and there's no 'timtam catch' in juggling either)
what i would really like to complain about is that in UK we have no cadbury's mousse bars.
