Hey hey all,
Right where to start...
I am Kelly and its my birthday tomorrow (4/12) yay!
I have decided I am going to learn a new skill that will hopfully be fun, social and well a good laff a guess. I am taking up poi and today bought my first poi under supervision of the clever dude in the shop in Camden...they are very nice and glow under UV..yay! I have learnt how to do parrallel swings front and back already and can turn around 180deg so i go from front to backwards swings but um thats it...I can't even turn around from backwards to forwards hehe! I aint very good but hell I learn quick, am a good laff and if you want can deliver your babies as I am a trainee midwife. 
I would like to know about poi things in london...I have heard there is something in a market somewhere but dont know where, when or how much etc, and I'd ideally like to meet other people who do poi and meet up for some lessons of sorts and a beer. Drop me a line on here and well we'll go from there I guess!

the market thing is infact spitlefields market on tuesday evenings at about 7 till about 10

well you've come to the right place for poi pals (hehe, that's sounds funny). there's lots of peoples in the london area. i wish i was there 
well, come poke around, visit our threads, get to know us. my thread is a bit r-rated just to warn you! we've got lots of tea and cookies in a variety of rooms, a jacuzzi in narr's room, outdoor activites in mand's room (where is she already...she was supposed to be back today!), free hugs in dyke boy's room (although really, we all give free hugs). there's a beach bar with cabana boys to cater to your every whim in vanize's room. beware of lightening, he smells (or so he says. i think he's quite a lovely person). regyt is our in-house pervy lawyer, so if you need any legal advice, i'm sure she'll give it out, but only if you let her spank you. 
just kidding (or was i? ).ok, i've talked your ear off, so i'll go now. so like i said, come, get to know us, just please remove your shoes at the door!
oh and you're a midwife in training? that's awesome! so is my sister!
