VT CALLED!!!!

Mand and I were on our way to play pool, and we got a phone call from him. He's doing well, and graduates from Basic in 8 days! Once he's done with that, he'll have 5 more weeks at AIT, then he gets to come back to Houston.

He sounds in really good spirits, and says that he's actually enjoyed basic.

He wanted me to pass on greetings to everyone, and appologize to those he didn't right to...the one thing he forgot to put in his pocket was the list of addresses everyone sent to him.

Anyway, it was good to chat with him, and he says he's missing his computer big time.

Now that's the pits but it's one of the things that comes with being in the military. My guy was in the reserves before we went back in full time and stationed at Ft Bliss. It turns out his reserve unit is being shipped out to Iraq in January. It may be selfish but I would rather have him in Texas than in Iraq.

Don't get me wrong. aside from all the non spinnyness i like it here. i just feel weird being stared at while i spin instead of haveing someone to spin with.i am being stationed here for the next 3 to 4 years. also i might be takeing some leave in april to go down to houston to see inlaws and such.
