I didn't want to lose the original intro post cos I think it says a lot about me (hee hee) but thought I might do an updated one that is closer to the truth now!
Name : Ros (still..............)
Age : 20!
Sex : Fairy
Location : Currently Birmingham, UK, at University.
Toys : Clubs, poi (fluffier the better..), staff, either rediculously tiny or scarily big doubles, unicycle(ish), flags, a little tiny bit of very rudimentary juggling!
Been Twirling For : since Christmas 2001! (about 3 1/2 years)
Occupation : student, loonie, hug-dispenser
Other Hobbies? :wandering, riding, making things, sleeping, bouncing, daydreaming, curling up in the sunshine, reading....

Book: Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Anna Karenina, Count of Monte Cristo, Day in the life of Ivan Denisovic, anything by Haruki Murakami......

You can watch it all on tv too. If you sit out in the garden, watching it and listening to the radio coverage, at high volume. Plus having some people with annoying accents yelling abuse at each other/shouting some well known phrase of the moment add infinitum, not very far away, you should be part way to acheiving the actual aural effect.
Then you need to eat expensive hummus/beans/wildly dangerous prawns/jacket potatoes/suspiscios burgers, you're well on the way to the full festival feel.
Just add taking an extra 40 mins to get any place and being unable to flush the toilet and you're there......
Roll on, as you quite rightly say, Glasto.

Oh and this year you should add a smattering of people who have seen all the spinners and thought that they "could do that".

hehehehe....monkeys! ...What do they play? hopschotch? or tiggy? I used to want a pet monkey... but then I heard stories about how they like shiney pretty things and they'll rip your ear off to get an earing!!! ...and with all the things I've got in my hair I think they'd send me bald! hehe
