Posted: i have an exam that is getting ever closer and if there are any med. students out there that are able to give me some serious, friendly advice about how they went about learning the muscles, especially of the neck then i would appriaticate it. I have been studyig and disecting for soooooooo long, and i know it if it is written in front of me but having to think of it on the spot is beyond me

Posted: What helps me memorize the different muscles is to look at their shape, location to other muscles, etc, and find something that makes it unique to it's name.
I truely don't know that much about the muscles in the neck...Sorry
I did have to memorize the names of the different muscles in of food animals, such as the thigh muscles of hogs and such.
But yeah I would PM Lightning and ask him. He would know more and prolly be able to help you out more.
