Hello
hmmmmmm what to write about me as an intro.....damn its make or break time. First impressions are so vital. Oooooo the pressure.
I'm living in South Wales but originate from Essex (No I don't own White stillettos and No I'm not an Essex girl!). I don't bite, I do pinch, I love chocolate and I one day plan on learning lots of stuff I can't do yet.
Hobbies:- include juggling, balls
and clubs , Diablo, poi, doodling, music, hating housework (dust is natures way of showing what the burglars have stolen), making things, pulling things to bits (mainly to see how they work) , embarrassing my nieces and nephews (great fun hobbie that all aunties should take up), hugging trees and talking to bees (watch out for the squirrels......they ARE out to get you!)
Ambitions:- Never to grow up. Learn how to burn things safely
To that ends learning how to poi without stunning myself, blacking my eye or turning myself into a human torch. Learn to play more than one tune on the guitar. Rule the World. Learn to Surf. Conquer my fear of heights. Travel the world in a van with a man named Bob ("why Bob?" you ask...well why not Bob? I'm sure there are loads of nice men called Bob out there! Simons and Johns need not apply).
Boring stuff:- work in sales to pay the bills.

I bet that bear is ultra creapy Gayle! I worked in a toy shop when I was a teenager and we had this 'life like baby doll' that was in the glass cabinet that served as the counter. It looked just like a new born baby and it breathed, moved and yawned every now and then. It used to freak me out. Everytime my boss went off to get drunk in the pub at 11 am, I used to turn it off or cover it over with a cloth. It stayed that way until 3 pm when he rolled back from the pub. I hated that doll!

Last night I had a very strange dream. It took the form of a line art animation. In this animation all these odd little creatures kept gathering together and chatting in a launguage I didn't understand. Some would come away from this group smiling, giggling and dancing on their toes and others would come out of the huddle looking sulky and glum. The glum ones would tut and grump at the dancing ones and then they would come over and trip up the dancing ones. Once all the dancers had been tripped over they would all gather up into a huddle again and jabber away to each other and it would begin again. Any ideas as to what it all means?

At least you haven;'t been having nightmares about a nintendo game!! Paper Mario if anybody knows it. I keep having dreams i'm in the game and that i'm killing all these wierd little creatures. Very disturbing.....I'm beginning to have doubts about my sanity.

ever see the short clip from Pixar before the film, ... what was it, Monsters Inc.? the one with all the birds on the wire - your grumpy dream critters remind me of them.

Thank you for the compliments. They're just doodles. I doodle all the time. Its a bad habit I have. I cover every blank bit of paper I find with strange faces and odd creatures. I should stop before Sting comes around my house complaining that I've wiped out a rain forest worth of trees!
The fact that I now have dreams starring them is even more of a worry!

doodling is NOT a bad habit. I am envious actually - I used to doodle all the time too, but got out of the habit and wish it would come back!

Doodling is a very funny thing. The only thing I used to doodle as a kid know gets used on my quilts. The exact same pattern I doodled is what people strive to put on a quilt. It just comes naturally to me (my other hobby is quilting by the way) while some people have to practice for hours to get it to even look half as good.
So, I say doodle away.

doodling kicks ass. i had a history teacher who regularly shouted at me for doodling instead of listening to him. Once he threw a whiteboard pen at my head, when i was drawing a private detective trying to defend himself from a tentacled blob monster in a cave (i should have been listening to him talking about... erm... something to do with the Treaty of Versailles). It didn't stop me doodling, it just made me better at avoiding flying objects.
