I know this mite not sound like much but it really upset me.
i was round my friends house yesterday and a few other of my friends were there. we were all chilling in her garden and i had brought my poi along so i thought id get some practise in.
after i had finished practising one of my friends boyfriends said it looked really cool. Then my friend (the one with the boyfriend) said " oh yeah im gonna start doing that cuz i reckon i could do it and it looks quite easy so yeah im goona start learning"
that comment made me feel really small and as i said before it really upset me.
i know its not much but i thought id tell u guys about it.

Thanks guys u have cheered me up a bit. she is a really nice girl but shes one of those people who act older than they r and still think that putting people down to make themselves look good is cool.

i say you need to get her to try in front of everyone so she embarrasses herself if she says she doesn't want to you just say what you scared you wont be able to do it then see her response.
i never belittle someone cos of things they cant do unless they have the kind of i can do anything attitude cos then they kinda need taking down a peg or two.

But im still gonna tell you to shut your face!! i severly doubt you learnt those three moves in actually 2mins, half an hour is more realistic, and i think anyone can pick up a move in half an hour anyway.
Sometimes it takes time for people to pick things up- anything is easy if you know how to do it. Maybe you should practice concern and respect.

it took me three months to learn to juggle the three ball cascade, and about the same time to learn the weave. i was just not co ordinated enough, so i taught myself to be. anything that i learn i spend hours and hours working on, generally alone just to get it right.....
i really dislike people who try to learn things in ten minutes, and when they cant, keep comming back and asking you how to do it.... just go away, and practice it some more...

if you want to take them down a peg or two make sure you have the backup you need, ie. you can do the things ur slagging them off for!! then you might understand how hard it is.... and then u might realise why they are proud!!
Tiffx at least shes being nasty to you, to your face, better than finding out from everyone else shes been slagging you off... i say, if you got a problem, make it clear!
lemonkey - the siteswaps will come! just keep juggling those balls, im working on 5 ball siteswaps at the moment, and they arent half annoyin hey?
