funnily enough, i also will be vacating edinb(rough) for a while pretty soon as well as my illustrious flatmates pk and nancy....
i'm off to the lovely climes of NZ for 6 months if the NZ government likes me enough to give me a work visa...

The plan at present is to leave edinburgh in september and arrive in auckland some time in october, having spent a week or three visiting people on the way in london, france and anywhere else my bank balance approves of(small nearby inexpensive places...). then from auckland after 1 week or so i will head outh to a small flat in queenstown to chill for 5 months or so and do interesting fun stuff...

many reasons for this, including plain itchy feet, a long term wish to reside in somewhere described as 'scotland but bigger and warmer'....been in edinburgh for three years and need a change of sceenery.... along with the trials and tribulations of working with your closest friends for 18 months....

what i recommend is that everyone comes to visit me there as you've all been so ****ing slack about getting to edinburgh over the last 18 months.

love y'all

Seeing as I actually did manage to get to Edinburgh during the 18 months that you were there, does that mean that I am exempted from your recommendation to fly to NZ, which would require my selling of a kidney or some other vital organ to get there? Not that I wouldn't want to visit NZ, but I think a life with two kidneys would allow me to do a lot more.

At any rate, best of luck with that, man. Hope it all works out.

I think i have enough money to get to Auckland, but probably not Queenstown...Send me an email B4 you arrive and you might even get to meet Charles Junior (6 weeks old today!).

i'll be in nz but i'm gonna miss ya by about a year

it could be like tag team travelling though we could arrange it so there's always a uk spinner resident in nz...

(and by the way, i think you'll find the correct form of that description is 'england but bigger and warmer' )

see you soon man
