What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow?
It depends on whether you are talking about an African or European swallow.
The airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles per hour*, beating its wings 7-9 times per second (rather than 43). But please note that a 5 ounce bird cannot carry a one pound coconut.

Hobbies other than the obvious: R/C cars, real cars, going to raves (and not touching drugs)

A star destroyer, naturally. Besides being bigger than Godzilla, it has a hyperdrive.

Plans for life in general: for now, get into PhD program for geography and complete it.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: mostly trance/EDM- Junkie XL, Paul Van Dyk, ATB, Benny Benassi, etc.

I started the rave-related arts with microlights late October last year, then moved up to free hand glowsticks and eventually into stringing/poi. Currently I have over half a year of lazy experience under my belt, but I'm always trying to learn more moves and variations.
