It pretty much is. I think there's loads of pictures like this in the gallery. I have a vague recollection of someone having 30+ staffs balanced on them :-D

Early Medicinal Alliance EMA a bit like the SCA but we use real steal weapons. Real metal armour. We go full authentic clothes tents food the works.
That one was took just before I went into a full contact fight. Steal weapons remember. So far I’ve had a cracked rib many different bruises, and I’m currently nursing two fingers that lost a load of skin despite my steal gauntlets and a leg that doesn’t want to work.
Great fun.
