Posted: Really fun burn! If there are any concepts or particular patterns you use to navigate your transitions through floor plane, I'd love to learn more about them. I do a lot of similar stuff, but I don't make very interesting use of floor plane, which is something you seem to have a good grasp of.

Posted: Im very bad with terminology. By floor plane do you mean horizontal plane?
I use the 4 point diamond pattern thing a lot. I basically imagine that there is a point directly in front of me and move between all 5 points. So there is: up, down, left, right, and forward.. If you are at the left or the right or the forward point you are in the horizontal plane and you can extend and antispin around. It gets more complicated than that but I would have draw pictures or something.. lol
Actually, just watch G's video.. I steal a lot from him..

Posted: I'll have to study that video some more. I hadn't thought of (and this is just where I run with what you've said, I'm not attributing this formulation of the idea to you) taking the Zan's Diamond pattern and turning it into an octahedron. Maybe this is what someone was trying to get at in one of the recent 3d spinning threads. Yay! I have a framework to play with!
Also I've seen that G video before, and I probably should study it more closely...

Posted: As a move it's usually just a family of 2d CAPs (that I can't do at all :p), but in this case I was just referring to the shape these CAPs use as their basis and sort of extending its use.
