Reason you learned or want to learn poi: I'm part of an active drum circle group in my town. Since I don't drum they are always sending me to the side walk in front of the alcove we play in to dance with shimmering materials to bring in listeners and more potential players. If I can work poi(I've wanted to learn for years) I might attract a bigger crowd, which is good for all of us.
The End

Drum circles are awesome..especially for spinning to.
Posted: Thank you Poje. Yeah, Prescott and Prescott Valley are nice, except for in the winter. Seriously, who said it doesn't snow in AZ? It does. I don't like it, being from SoCal, but it does.
One of my family's best friends puts on the drum circle every full moon and new moon. You should tell your friend to check us out. They can send me a message here for details.
