This is probably not the best forum for asking stuff like this- this is the place for introductions.. Try searching through the 'Technical/Moves' 'Technical Discussion' forum for 'camera', if you can't find anything in there, try the 'Help'..
What sort of pictures are you getting? I just messed around with mine, and came up with some reasonable pics, using a camera older than me and slide film..

Posted: its all about exposure times/shutter speed...the longer the exposure, the more fire in the picture. if you want to capture a subject in one position with the fire moving around them, then use the flash. if you just want a pic with fire, and a blurry person, leave the flash out. thats the basics of it.
