Posted: Hi! my name is DJ and i am from alaska. i was born and raised there, i am 19 years old and just picked up poi. There is a Fire circus in alaska that go to all of the festivals and do performances-The AK Fire Circus. When i first saw them spin at a blue grass festival at Trapper Creek... i knew i was going to be doing it someday... that was awhile ago, i didnt have enough confidence in myself to do it until recently and as you go it gets easier.... The SAIORSE (freedom in gaelic) of movement is a beautiful thing. This new hobbie i picked up is awsome i love it.
