I am Mike Heffernan, from East Troy Wisconsin. Thats in the U.S.. I've lived in southeastern wisconsin my entire life! (Hopefully I'll be getting out soon!) I was born June 23, 1986(that would make me a Cancer). 21 years old. Anyone else from this area wanna go get a drink or sumthin?
I right now work at a factory called Modern Fence Technologies. I handle all the packing, shipping, and recieving of our goods. Also a master forklift driver! Spicy tuna rolls rock my life, and I'm very partial to things black and white. "Mustard is my lifetime nemesis." I've been doing poi now for about 18 months, and I must say I think I'm pretty good. Best in the are seeing as how nobody else that I've met does poi! It's a lonely hobby for a wisconsinite! The fire will always be my forte, but I ordered those "Foxy Sox" off this site, the jailhouse ones. I love em, absolutely amazing.
I absolutely love books, and tv is the enemy! I cant say I have a favorite book, but my all time favorite author is Chuck Palahniuk! Author of "Fight Club." Anybody?
Also Anthony Burgess, Ayn Rand, Poppy Z. Brite, and D. A. Levy!
Music is my life(other than poi)!! I am a guitar player myself. I LOVE hardcore music. Techno/electronica comes second! Indie/experimental tops it all though. I would name my favorite bands, but I could go on forever.
As far as what I wanna do in the future? Thats unknown, sadly. I'm not really sure. Army, I think. Yeah, I'll be joining the Army for at least 4 years. I always wanted to visit the middle-east! Maybe I'll actually get to go there! I really just wanna experience the world. Day jobs are for suckers!
Also, chocolate is the key to anything you want from me. Mmmmmmm!!
Ok, bands: the flaming lips, radiohead, modest mouse, between the buried and me, tom waits, they might be giants, minus the bear, andrew bird, wilco, the strokes, red hot chile peppers, brand new, broken social scene, the spill canvas, august burns red, misery signals, amon tobin, built to spill, the new pornographers, infected mushroom, the audiognomes, bjork, incubus, frank zappa, the smashing pumpkins, primus, circa survive, mew, buckethead, ween, dr. dog, the olivia tremor control, neutral milk hotel......just to name a few!
If you wanna push then I'm ready to push, but if you're pullin' while I'm pushin' then why'd you ask me to push?

I'm from WI as well! I actually grew up in the Hartland/Sussex area, but currently reside in Beaver Damn (the spelling is intentional).
