Posted: hey my name is bob i have been spinning poi for almost 2 years and i have hit a plateau. i am looking for an help you guys can offer. i am interested in physics and tai chi which have been a help but im looking for more of the fundementals. i just ordered the sclaes of poi DVD, im waiting uneasily, and the poi spininng book. i hope these will be good tools. i have made my own poi; they are constructed out of suede balls connected to braided hemp cords with dog collars for the handles. i want to start throwing my poi but i dont know the proper weight ratio (ball weight to handle weight) to insure a good spin. i look forward to the help i get and to lend a hand where i am needed. thanks bob

Posted: Hi, welcome to HoP.
You may get more luck if you have more specific questions, and stick 'em on the 'help' forum.
This is the page to tell us about yourself.. not so many people will come in here to give tips.
Anyway.. hope you get the info you're looking for, and have fun
THE MEEK WILL INHERIT THE EARTH!
If that's okay with you?

Yes please I would like some help. As said above the best is to head over to the poi help forum. Lot's of people there that can help.
