Hometown: i was born in perth, in western australia, but i wouldn't really call it my hometown, since we moved away from there when i was only about 3 or 4 years old.



Birthday (sign?): april, 1972. i'm a taurus.



Age: 35, but that often surprises me. i don't feel that old!



Sex: i'm a girl!



Occupation(s): none at the moment. i'm a single, stay-at-home mum to my 4 year old little boy.



Favorite Food(s): lasagna's pretty good. i love most types of pasta, actually, but i guess spinach & ricotta ravioli would be my current favourite.



Favorite Color(s): currently, i'm obsessing on orange.



What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? depends if it's an african or european swallow.



Toys: three sets of poi: orange sock poi, grey fluffy poi with short purple ribbons & glow poi.



Hobbies other than the obvious: computers, reading, crochet occasionally (thinking about trying to crochet a set of poi. could be cool, could be incredibly daggy. lol!)



Education: all of high school, some TAFE, one class (so far, i may do more) from a masters in writing, editing & publishing.



Favorite Book(s): the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy series.



Favorite Movie(s): when harry met sally, the shawshank redemption, life is beautiful, american beauty.



Favorite TV show(s): hardly ever watch tv, so i don't have any.



Plans for life in general (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up): support myself with my own business so i can get off government payouts. generally enjoy life!



Favorite ice cream flavor(s): chocolate.



Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? my australian citizenship would dictate that i choose vegemite, but if it was all i could eat for the rest of my life, i'd probably choose marmite, since it doesn't taste as strong as vegemite.

i was introduced to poi at the circadia tent at the woodford folk festival just last week. i had a ball there just watching everyone & even managed to do two beginner poi classes. i'm now officially in love with poi.
