from last one year i was watching people performing fire dance on the beach in goa & my friend sales juggling staff, i am starting with staff at present later on i will try to others toys, i am confused with my my fire stick also which is long & heavy for some people its as big as me height also ?
i am finding different ideas for people about staff (height & weight ) ?
your suggestions will help

ita all about preference, i have a 5 and a 5.5 foot staff that are fairly heavy, definatly not the heaviest ive used. a rule of thumb ive read is get a staff about shoulder height. Also, heavy is good for contact. 2-3 lbs is a good weight for it.

As Poje says, it's personal preference. I'm 5 foot 1 inch and my staff is 5 foot long. But my staff is real light.

i bought one more staff now i am 5 foot 6 and my staff is comes near my chest area, which is lighter then the other one now i am realizing many moves which were difficult to do with old staff is possible with this one,
