Yup, not much else to say, kinda...

I made a makeshift set of poi out of a pair of nylons with tennis balls a while ago. I had a lot of fun with them but they ripped, so I ordered a pair of chain and ball poi (the instructional set) and two glow balls. Now I can't wait for my order to arrive at my door step : D

Name: Matt

Location: Durham

Hometown: Oshawa

Birthday (sign?): 7th of May 1991 The bull thing, I forgot its name : P Tarus or something like that. XD

Age: 16

Sex: No I would rather not. (Male)

Occupation(s): Student, I guess I could say Lawn service too

Favorite Food(s): Shrimp, Lobster, any kind of meat but veal

Favorite Color(s): Black black and more black. Wait, black is only a shade, not a colour.

What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? Fast enough to carry a coconut.

Toys: Um... poi?

Hobbies other than the obvious: Baking, fencing (saber), horse back riding ("bareback and free")

Education: 11th

Favorite Book(s): Harry Potter 1-6, Eraon and Eldist, Lemony Snicket books,

Favorite Movie(s): Star Wars (the new ones sucked) The Nightmare Before Christmas

Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why?

Star Destroyer, because it could crash into Godzilla and impale it, and it has a crap load of guns.

Favorite TV show(s): House, The Simpsons, Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy, American Dad, 24, Mythbusters, and Attack of the Show.

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I think I want to be a family doctor, I'm not to sure though.

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Vemon, Darkthorne, Cradle of Filth, Mayhem, Dimmu Borgor, any black metal, which is a contradiction because I'm Christian.

Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? Yes, they make you look like a fat sack of lard. Just kidding, there fine.

Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Chocolate

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?* Nutella, is the best : DDDDD

[*Please choose one. This is important as it is the site's equivalent to sating a religion. We have crusades, wars, mass conversions, cathedrals to Nutella, all that stuff.]

The fact that user name has "Teh" in it gives you away as a frequent forum user.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that still hasn't gotten bored with teh. biggrin

So you wanna be a family doc, huh? Not a common aspiration, I must say, which makes me respect it all the more.

I'm a pediatrician and I wouldn't have it any other way. :-)

@Fire
My name came from an inside joke, but I guess your right too.
Forums are awesome, I like the smaller ones where you get to know the people, or you join it when the forum starts and you get to know the people really well.

@Doc
Um... Nutella is the only one of the three I've heard of XD
Yeah, I want to be a family doctor or a pediatrician.

@Hamamelis
Thanks, do you know what the average range is for this forum is? If so, could you tell me?

Well, I'll tell you one thing. If you're a pediatrician, you're going into one of the hardest-working, lowest-paid fields in medicine.

It's also the happiest with an 89% career retention rate.

So you mean Durham, ON? The teensy town of like 2,000 people?

What's THAT like?

Oh XD

I forgot there was a Durham back in Canada.

No, I'm in Durham, North Carolina, sorry about that.

Its odd down here, theres a church at every street corner, er thats what it seems like. I don't really mind though, it just seems like overkill. It gets really hot here in the summer
Oh, and they close the schools down if we get an inch of snow XDD

Hm, I looked at the pay per year for pediatricians and it looked like it could pay pretty good, but I guess Ill look into more.

There's also a Durham in England, just to make matters even more confusing.

Well, I had to look for an oshawa.

Anyway, don't make a career decision on the paycheck alone. That's a fantastic way to live a miserable, uninspired life.

Screw interesting! When a drooly toddler looks up at you and gives you a big grin with just a few teeth coming in, the feeling it gives you beats "interesting" any day of the week. ubblove

It's even cooler to watch an 8yo up, running around, and giggling after you nursed him back from the brink of dehydration.

The average range of this website is around 50 meters, depending on prevailing wind.

Though the Nutella cannon can manage further than that..

Is that what you meant? biggrin

Nutella cannon? At a camp I was in charge of the making of a trebuchet that could fire a 50 pound boulder over 500 feet and knock a tree down >:]
