if that wasn't entirely rhetorical, you can get "JSTV" in this country if you want, I don't know how much it costs though, I lived in a house with it for a bit, required satellite and a smartcard.
or if your connections up to it, you could try https://watch-free-tv-online.chris-tv.com/ for whatever they carry.

Cos I never saw anything any where near as good as the stuff you see of their tv over here! Japanese tv over there is weird, but not as damn good as this and the stuff on foxtel!
