Hi!
I learnt everything off HoP videos (shamless plug) till the point where I could do most of the stuff on there bar goofy flowers ( so much coordination) and by hitting myself in the unmentionables a lot. Then met some people at events etc who are all happy to show you new stuff.
Where abouts is stockport? Is that wales?

hello!! me and a few people live in chester, youd be welcome to come down.... and there are some meets in both liverpool and manchester.... im sure somone there would help you!

I'm sorry I didn't greet you before but I was tired when i found this and your other post, and saw these other nice people had answered your question pretty well too here.

Welcome to HoP

best place to start is to look at the basic free lessons fom HoP, and try to get down everything in the 1st set of basics, and have a good go at the 2nd, though many skip that before spending lots of time on butterfly's and the 3 beat weave.

once you've got those most moves can be worked out from carefully watching video's, and practice, practice, practice

Other than that, check the [Old link], and the [Old link] to see if there's anything near you that you could get to, to meet some other spinners and get first hand help.

and try the search function to look for locations near Stockport.

hey up kafron, welcome i replied to your pm but i forgot to mention that there are usually regular meets in manc on the last sunday of every month i think will try find some details for you.
