Hey, I'll start by saying that I love what you all are doing, and I have yet to master any fire arts, though I am into hula hooping and would love to take up fire hoop in the near future.
For now, I'm just a photography student who's looking for an individual who would be interested in posing for a few portraits. I've photographed some fire artists/hoopers, but for this project I really need to focus on one or two subjects, rather than a group. I know it's getting cold out, so I'd like to do this in the next two weeks! I live in St. Kilda in Melbourne, VIC, but am willing to go anywhere in the city for the shoot. Having you be comfortable in the shoot is the most important thing, and I don't want to take anyone out of their environment. Any fire artist will do, though I'd really love to meet someone who does hoop, as I've never met one, and I'd love to see this in person. If you'd like to do the shoot with a friend, I'm more than happy to shoot two people if it's part of your performance.
You'd also get a digital copy of the photos on cd, and assurance that I won't be profiting from these images (they're for class / my portfolio). So if you are in need of documentation of your performance, this could work out for both of us. If you'd be interested, just send me a private message / respond to the post / or e-mail me at [email protected].

Come to the Sunday Gathering in Melbourne [Old link]
If you wanna find some people to photograph in Melbourne, alot of us come down there...
I'm always up for having photos taken of myself, I Spin Staff, Eat Fire and Contact Juggle... All can make prettyful photos =D
I'm also fairly sure Pineapple Pete would be happy to twirl poi with me for a couple of photos
