Hi All,

I'm fairly new to poi having bought a set whilst backpacking around Australia and New Zealand. I've had a play with them and can do some VERY basic moves but would love to learn to use them properly without hitting myself and getting tangled redface

I'm based in Birmingham. Anyone know where I can learn to spin?

Hi MMel - welcome to HoP!

You can always try looking in the Meet Others section or the International section of the board (if you can't wait for someone from Birmingham to stroll in and tell you).

cheers

I have several large jars of the stuff. I actually like it... a little. And don't tell anyone I admitted to it.

Hello, welcome to a Nice Place. I learned entirely here on the Webnet, but I doubt you'll have the same problem in Birmingham.

What's your favourite thing about camels?

Hi,

I'm learning from the net at the moment but getting frustrated. I seem to spend a lot of time hitting myself redface

Camels? Best thing has to be the humps, how about you?

Hi,

I'm glad to say it's Birmingham West Midlands.

Glad to hear that everyone else gets hit and tangled. I probably didn't do myself any favours by buying poi with long tails though.

Cheers,

Mel
