My name is Jessica, I'm from the US. I have just recently gotten into poi, eventually, I will work with fire. I go to a local art exhibit the 1st friday of every month. They have fire spinning performers on the street. My cousin signed up for lessons from one of the performers. I was highly skeptical at first, but when I played around with his sock poi, I realised how fun it was! So, I made a sock poi of my own and practice multiple times a day. Within the week, I've perfected the weave, butterfly, corkscrew, bth butterfly, and the buzzsaw. I look forward to talking with you all as I get better.
PS- My sleep really has improved. I LOVE POI
