Posted: My name is Madzz. I'm eighteen years old and I'm kind of new to this site and the whole poi thing. I've barely been doing it two weeks but I've learned how to do the following:
Weave, corkscrew, alternate butterfly, butterfly, Giant butterfly, backwards spin, forward spin, split time both ways.
I am currently using training poi with tails that I got from ebay. They're holding up really well. I'm hoping to get sock poi soon, or at least find a decent pair of socks to make sock poi myself :]
I'm training hard because I want to perform in the summer (if anyone knows any events that allow poi-ers to perform around London, tell me!) and I also want to do fire poi, which is why im using the tails. They act how the flame would so I know what I should and shouldn't do when it comes to fire poi time :]
Enough about poi, I also do a lot of photography and I would love some fire/neon poi-ers to get shots of. And I'm generally here to get to know other people, learn some more tricks and get some tips!
I do have one question though- is there any way to make my arms ache less after doibng poi?
