Hello, hello and welcome to the all-new, shiny thread for fire dancers, spinners, object manipulators, drummers, musicians and anyone else interested in these arts anywhere in Ireland.

Our community started coming together a few years ago, and it's grown to include people from all over the country...

If you are new to poi or staff or spinning stuff and want to meet up with any of the Irish spinners, please post in this thread, introduce yourself and feel free to come along to the workshops, gatherings or events that get talked about.

Also, if you'd like to be on my mailing list for fire gatherings and other juggling events, please PM me your email address and I'll add it. The fire gathering takes place fortnightly in Belfast, but it's one way to keep in touch with everyone.

So welcome, and hope to see you soon wave

Hello there, all. Im not Irish, but my wife was born and raised there.

Anyways, we've finally reserved some tix to Dublin for next July. Its been 4 years since we've been back to see her family, and this time we'll be bringing a newborn with us.

Is there anything big that happens in July? Are there local weekly meets or anything?

Hey Squid wavehello, it's a bit early to be talking about next July but there's usually something fun going on over here.

CAm no you didn't puke, but I'd say you didn't even if you did, coz I wouldn't want you to be imbarressed biggrin Ha ha. No me and Paul won't be shazaming in Clon, this is the last weekend of Lucie's gaff so we are in mourning and are planning a pretty fun weekend to mark the occasion, BOO!! that you're not going to Merrion tonight, I hope Claire is, I'm going to steal her and put her on my pocket. Ah, not really but I do have to return her hoop.

Hugzies,
