i've just finished watching the new film stranger than fiction (Absolutely Fantastic BTW), and i find myself reading the official nintendo magazine forums. sad yes, but needed.

for about a good year and a bit i've been waiting for the new gaming system from nintendo.

and its finally here, the nintendo wii....if anyone doesnt know what i'm talking about just go into your local game or gamestation and buy one of these right now.

www.wii.com

its too early to write anything with any meaning here, but i will check up here later, after an exhausting game of wii sports biggrin

anyone else as geeky as me?

I like Languages.

AHHH-HA-HA-HA! CONSOLES!

Give me a PC every time. It's not just the far superior graphics and processing, it's being able to put something back into the game. Where's the modding community on a console? How do I run a server so people can play any modifications I might make?

On the console a game is a game, on the PC it's a world you can adapt to your own wishes.

Looking at GTA4 due out on the PS3, I am starting to regret getting a wii. I think this feeling of regret will only get worse when the hype for MGS get heated up.

Polarity: change the record tongue

I'm first and foremost a PC gasmer but consoles, especially the wii, have a part to play. My Wii has had endless hours of use perfecting wii sports, and now Mario Glaxty is sapping hours out of muy day, almost always leaving me with a smile on my face.. its just so well thought out.

I still have absolutely no interest in the PS3 and the 360, nice though it is, is kust bordering on a nice PC, so I'll stick to my PC the rest of the time.

Well PC gaming does cost a lot more. My CPU cooler alone cost more than a PS3 ubblol

I am practically wetting myself though at the prospect of playing with the Wii development system at Uni bounce

My friend as a wii.
Raymans Rabid Rabids and Wii Play and Wii Sports are good to play multiplayer.

I currently like playing Pokemon Colosseum on it.

[censored] your wii's and [censored] your (se)x-box. I had one since I was a kid and kept it in perfect condition, all the game cartridges worked Alex Kidd in Miracle World, and Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap. I kept it for years and years and years and my mum got so sick of me playing it she threw it away one day. How could she?!

Ive got a wii now though, I bought it in 2007 and got it from WH-Smith of all places. Im amazed at all the silly cartoon games though, like Cooking Mamma, and The Ninjabread Man. Currently im hooked on Zelda, Tombraider, and Super Mario Galaxy
