2 1/2 hours. That's how long I was out walking with Noah and his friend tonite. My friends gave up after an hour.

And the candy....Willy Wonka doesn't have this much candy in his whole d@mn factory!

There are candies in here I've never heard of. Some that Noah won't even know made it into his bag. wink

*sits down and puts feet up, cozies under a blanket and cracks open a S'Mores candy bar*

Sooo.....ummmmm...candy anyone?

You can still have a piece of candy Mr. Majestik. I don't discriminate. wink

There weren't as many kids as usual for us so we had people towards the end of the night giving us fistfuls of candy.
I even had some put in my Cowgirl hat. smile

So...Reeses or Tootsie Roll?..oh..look...a Snickers...

So, those 4 minis added up to one normal size bar..maybe? wink
Has peanuts in it, so it's already better than a bowl of Coco Puffs! ubblol

I went out to the pub dressed up with my friend.

I got puked on, twice, and ended up having to carry my friend up the stairs in her house and put her to bed even before the night had really begun!

I think that deserves me getting some free chocolate!

we had no where near the amount of trick or treaters that we usually get, but on the plus side, more sweets for us biggrin

What kind would you like Aimee? Light, Dark, Milk, White?
*passes Aimee bowl o' chocolate*

So, my sons candy bag weighs well over 8 pounds (as high as the scale I could use went).

That's ALOT of candy.

Some dude on our route was handing out money. We liked him best!

No apples, pencils or toothbrushes this year, though one bag of pretzels. *shrug*

I still have a couple of Halloween Parties to go to. Off to find a new costume tonite at the half price sale! smile
Or I should just cover myself in taped on chocolates with a sign that says eat me! wink

Doh! Right you are...My brain is not working very well for the time being...a bit on overload....
Lots going on with my church and I'm having to handle irate board members...new circle dedication...Samhain Celebration this past Sunday here...now got to handle this weekends circle, full moon and a paganism class next Tuesday to teach. Add my regular online course work, cleaning house for picky old ladies and dealing with my kids arguing with me and i'm just ready to go hide in a hole somewhere!!!

biggrin Brandi's Snickers bars are disappearing at an alarming rate. Can't imagine where they are going! rolleyes

There is an othodontist in Raleigh that is trading kids $1.00 for every pound of candy they bring in to him...is putting up $500. of his own money for it! He's also donating $1.00 for each one that he gives to charity (forget which one). Pretty darn cool!

I think so too ravehead! Wanna go to a party on Sat night? wink

FyreSpirit..there's a dentist who used to do that here. We would take him half the candy. lol I always joked that he kept the candy for himself! lol
This year, now that Noah is older, I highly doubt we'd be able to wrestle any of the candy from him to do it.

You know, you have a Snickers (peanuts=protien), a Milk Dud (milk=dairy), fruit gummies (well, it says Fruit), Candy Corn (corn=veggie)....look...a well balanced meal! AND if all goes wrong with the teeth, I have two sets of gummy ones here for you to help with that. wink

(trust me, I understand busy. Don't forget to chill for yourself a bit. Nothing is worth a break down).

It's really fun to play "Halloween Costume or Not?" on my block as people walk by. It's not as easy as it sounds.

And I have decided that since some of the members in the church seem to want to disregard others' feelings, I'm gonna tear 'em a new one and make the focus of my circle this weekend compassion and consideration!!!

I'm quite looking forward to it!!! wink

Thanks again!!!

Make the focus compassion, concideration and acceptance and invite them in with perfect love and perfect trust. If they act out after that then you can justifiably tell them that they are not practicing what they preach. wink
If you rip 'em a new one ahead of time, they might miss the point whilst being angry. biggrin

Don't forget to offer them candy.
Chocolate releases endorphines that make people feel happy, even if only temporarily.

Hey...who took all the Kit-Kats?
I want one!

Wanna see?
*offers a pack of m&m's*

Halloween kind of snuck by without me noticing this year. I didn't make it out to any halloween parties, for various reasons, and living on the 6th floor of an apartment building we're not likely to get any trick or treaters.
Maybe next year...
