Hi to all you twirlers and HoP lovers!
I'm Malcolm's latest addition to the HoP family with my first day of work here at HoP today (Mon 16th Oct 06) and I see lots of fun ahead (as well as a huge learning curve)! I am totally new to poi so I hope I don't make too many dumb comments!
A bit about me then:
George McNeur, male, age... "enough"!
Family: wife Heather, 3 boys 12, 13, & 15.
Location - Christchurch, NZ.
working career: Electronics Engineering - 15yrs RNZAF, 6 yrs in Test/Manufacturing and 6.5 yrs network products R&D.

yep - correct - Royal NZ Air Force. I managed to get a few rides in the Skyhawk jet fighters before the govt scrapped the strike wing, although I still reckon I've had more exciting rides in the helo's. (Not to say that skimming the waves at 400+ knots isn't exciting!)
But it was still all about juggling stuff I suppose so I'm sure it'll be useful.

Mum says she stayed sane by always buying weetbix in bulk for those crucila times like after school. Dad also milked a cow and that filled the extra corners at meal times with a flagoon or two.
So when do you juggle when in the armed forces?
I am sure when you make dumb poi type comments we will all gently guide you in the right direction and not smirk and send pms to each other about the new mod

coolies. Out of all army type careers I would choose Airforce but I don't think I'm allowed to coz my eyesight is crappy lol. Welcom to HoP though I'm a newbie myself so I can't really welcome you like most people

Actually, there's at least a couple of diff meanings for the "GM" - you'll just have to keep guessing tho unless Malcolm or Chris let the cat out of the bag (not that it's a secret - it's just more fun that way!
