Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? I usually go for the cheaper rip off Nutella ^___^;;

Okay, now that I've done this obligatory questionaire, I can start with the actual intro smile

I've picked up my Poi again roughly two weeks ago and decided it was time to gain some new skills. I googled here and instantly started hacking at the videos shown in the poi moves section. At this point I'd like to send a big shout out thanks to the creators of that section, as I wouldn't have been able to learn so many moves if it wasn't for it. Also of course all the people who uplaoded the movies and/or helped by explaining stuff in these forums. Also a big Thankyou to Spike (PeDey) for this post on the reverse weave:
 Written by: Spike

start with poi on your left side holding the left arm infront of the right about a foot say.

Now swing them out in front of you and up into a backwards swing on your left, keeping your hands the same distance appart.

I've since mastered the reverse weave and what goes withit (change from front to back) and I have to say it's the most fun one so far smile

Currently I'm working on my Butterfly's, I've got both of the forward ones down I recon... I'm aiming for TTN but haven't quite understood what I see in the video. I'm trying to figure out the closeup...
Is TTN a symmetrical move (like the weave)?
I read somewhere that you can do arm or leg wraps, now I gather normal wraps are only to be preformed with the wierd socklikelooking Poi. Isit possible to do arm/leg-wraps with normal poi?

Also, I read some thread of talk about dancing with Poi. I dunno if I qualify as being able to dance, but I recon power-DnB (for energetic times, ie. Pendulum remix of Voodoo People) and progressive PsyTrance (Infected) both mix very well with Poi.

So much from me, over and out ^___^;;

My state of mind is not yours to define!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

First off, I'll ask my question again: Is there a backwards 5-beat weave?

Secondly, I learned the btb weave, dunno if fore- or back-wards, I guess fore- ^____^;;
