Forgive me for being sappy but I can get that way sometimes. It's just that I've been on this board long enough to know that it seems to go in cycles. Every now and then rudeness, conflict, disrespect, and other negativity rears its ugly head and everyone goes into a tizzy about how beautiful this place "used to be"...

Well it seems we're in one of those wonderful lulls where the board is as it should be. No thread hijackers, no personal attacks, no crazyness, no spitting contests. The political conversations are respectful (though heated at times), serious topics are met with respect and taste, silly topics are met with warmth and fun. Even the technical sections are particularly helpful. The board may change with the seasons but always seems to return to this.

So take a moment and breathe in the warmth that's on the board now.

These times are the times that keep me coming back...

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.
[They do not move.]

I completely agree

I've been noticing recently that a few people who said they were leaving have come back and started posting again - It just proves how good this site is I suppose.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Word.

I hadn't been on here much prior to last week and this is all so very pleasant to come back to.

The only thing I'll say is that with all these new members it's very difficult to keep well read on everything that's going on around here!
