Posted: ive been playing poi for about a year, and i am still confused by the poi lingo! i need a dictionary!, would anyone mind telling me exactly what hyperloops are? and can u do them with basic tail poi or fire wicks?
also how on earth is it possible to do a 7 beat weave!!?? surely you would have to grow a third arm?? i can do forward five beat and reverse on my left im still struggling to complete the move though grrr. are there any film clips of people doing 7 beat?
u guys all blow my mind, i thought i new a pretty good number of moves, but i have no idea what half the stuff u say means! lol

The search function comes in pretty handy in pinpointing specific info (top right corner). Tail poi aren't the best poi to do them with as the tails get tangled pretty easily. Sock poi are probably the easiest to hyperloop (or air wrap).
7 beat weave yup, you need a third arm. To achieve a functioning third arm, big tip is to wait at least 2 weeks before checking the marcotting.
Anyway. Don't worry too much about how many beats you can weave, there are plenty of other things to explore- a good place to start is Yuta's video in the video section of the forum.

Posted: the highest number of beats a weave is able to achieve is actually 9, but its one of those uber-techy moves that you're never gonna really use unless you're surrounded by geeks, welcome to the asylem.
