Ahoy hoy...



heres a little about myself -



age: 21



location: Leeds (soon to be czech republic!)



occupation: fine art student



interests: Music of a diverse nature, piano playing, reading, great food, great company... love to meet new people!



latest acheivement: gave up smoking - ALRIGHT!!



feel like im supposed to sound much more interresting... but alas im new to this kind of thing and don't really know what to write...

recently started poi and got my 5 beat weave going on today, so im chuffed to the stars and back! my mate got me into poi and ive only just started to take it seriously and its taking up too much of my 'should be working' time...

Was poi-ing in Hyde Park in Leeds t'other day, and two policemen came over for a chat, wanted to know what it was all about! i offered to teach them a move or two, but they declined. shame eh.

Hi and welcome to HoP Kirstie ! First of all congratulations on kicking the fags- it's a filthy (not to mention costly) habit.

Also good going with the 5 beat weave. I remember when I first got it.. Talk about sense of achievement . But then a hideous world does open up after that.. do it behind your back, over your head.. eventually someone will show you a 7 beat.. with or without the wraps.. with or without the weird elbow thing..

And when you think that's the worst it gets, you will stumble upon a slightly strange but wonderful fellow, Nick Woolsey who will show you an infinite beat weave .
