you can start be reading the [Old link] and answering it in here, then just browse around the different areas of the site.
it's fairly straight forward and full of very useful things, like the free lessons, and the events, meets and gatherings section for finding people in your area.
and before you start a new thread on something, use the search function to see if it has been covered before
