Here it is folks, you've been incredibly patient, and let's be honest, you knew we wouldn't let you down.

Fal5 will not be taking place in Falmouth, instead the ever resourceful Ms Maus has secured us a sweeet spot to stay. It's a little further west, but be sure it's worth the tiny bit of extra effort.

The dates are Friday 14th April - Monday (Tuesday) 17th (18th) April.

We will be staying here and that means we will be spending a lot of time on this beach.

Campsite checks in at the bargain price of £4 per person per night, and they have the usual shower/toilet blocks.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO TELEPHONE THE CAMPSITE TO BOOK

The Wiki list (so's we know who's coming) is here

Nearest town and train station is Hayle so make sure not to go to my house by mistake, as I won't be there. biggrin

Any questions?

Does anyone have one of the mini hookah pipes? I bought a mate one and she carries it in her handbag. I seem to recall ed had something of the sort...

wink tongue

Just had a second thought on bringing hookah...
It's a family campsite..and spliffs are pretty easy to hide..but a 20inch pipe which looks like a bong is not so family friendly, even if I only have no nicotine, no tar mollases to put in it ubblol

Should be fine as long as you keep it to the tent and the beach at night.
Obviously it wouldn't cheer the owners up to much if there were a bunch of us lot sat in a circle sharin a hoolah in the middle of the feild...

....but we can get away with a lot as long as we're discreet. biggrin

Gonna borrow my mum's portable ashtray that's very handy in Hong Kong as they have stricter laws about cigarette butts over there...

Very good point!!!!!!!!!!!

I think what would be a good idea, would be that every one is responsible for there own camping area, and it would be appreciated if every body could clean this up before they leave.

Also any volunteers out of the people staying on for a bit longer to help out with a final clean up would be greatly appreciated.

I will bring some binbags with me,and everyones help in the tidying process will be excellent!!

may i suggest a bucket filled with sand or all cig butts whilst we are on the beach. its clean, safe and will make cleaning afterwards easier as they will be in one place. (plus its cheap, sand is plentyful on a beach, and a bucket will only cost about a quid)

not meaning to be the one to piss on the proverbial bonfire...but..

I think if people are sitting down on the beach of a night, stoned as we often are, how many people would want to stand up and walk to the other side of the fire, only to put 1/2 inch of cardboard into a bucket of sand, and then return to their place? umm

never underestimate the laziness of people in general. shrug

I propose that empty beer cans are crushed and the ends of spliffs and roll ups are put in them when we are eitehr at the campsite or on the beach.

(crushed so people dont try swigging a can of fag and spliff ends mixed with beer)

Someone drinks beer all the time.. umm

oooh..and there is still the possibility of me not coming to this if I cant get the time off work. frown

Im trying to restrict my sadness by reminding myself how windy and rainy it will be ubblol
