I had to place a special order with Gooble for that staff. 8 inch wicks ... crazy...
I did some spinning last night with it, the flames are huge and..... well the fireballs are just crazy..... the wicks hold almost 1/2L of Firesol.
The flame is quite agressive but I love it, it looks amazing. Going to start trying contact staff with this one, its made for it

nice staff you picked up there, didn't know they sold 1.8m staves... or did you have to place a special order for that?

if you wanna use that for contact staff, I might recommend that you lengthen the grip, it should make things easier.
if you want contact staff gurus to learn staff from you might want to look up kyle and/or our 2 resident french spinners (don't know if they are still around and/or will be there monday). but till then you can look up the tutorials on mcp's website.

common ground preps have begun, we are sorting out insurance so we can book the venue again, a post will be on hop as soon as we have dates confirmed. the fire show last year had close to everyone there taking part at some point, there where lots of individual routines and a huuuuuuuuge group burn at the end, there where so many ppl who lit up that there wasnt enough space for everyone to light up i think a similar format will happen again this year, so if you guys want to work on a routine of sorts or just want to freestyle we would be most happy to have you take part this year
