I thought I would finally get around to doing the intro thing, seeing as I have been lurking on here for ages, right back from 2002. (And use the lover-ly new template someone so kindly made)
Name: Jo
Location: Australia
Hometown: Perth, mostly
DOB: smack bang on the cancer leo cusp, in a fire dragon year.
Age: If you really need to know figure it out from the above.
Sex: female
Occupation(s): Mining Surveyor, Chef, and have also been and English teacher in a Thai primary school. Currently a mine surveyor in an open cut iron ore mine in the north west of WA.
Favorite Food(s): Rice. Steamed Jasmine Rice. mmmmm. Pretty much love everything except leeks, pumpkin and coriander, the three most evil of foods.
Favorite Color(s): Green, brown, purple and orange.
Toys: mostly poi. Part-owner of a very un-used devil stick, and I just made myself some short staves today.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Cooking. Diving. Making stuff - all kinds of stuff.
Education: skool, Uni, tafe, other.
Favorite Book(s): Cosmic trigger, Robert Anton Wilson.
Favorite Movie(s): Don't really have one. Not a huge movies kind of person. Oh, Ok, the Scarlet Pimpernel if I must choose.
Favorite TV show(s): Bah. None.
Plans for life in general: If I knew, I'd be doing it. But I don't so I'll just live in the moment.
Plans for the near future: big round the world 1 to 2 year odyssey happening in six months time. Woooo hoooo.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Hmmm. Very hard. No outstanding favourites. Sorry to be boring.
Favorite ice cream flavor(s): Lemon/lime sorbet
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?
Is this even a valid question? What IS marmite anyway? what IS nutella? There can be only one. Vegemite all the way. Its nutritious, delicious, and can be used as body paint for hiding in chocolate factories or dark rooms. I do believe one could live on vegemite alone for the rest of one's life. Everything else pales in yeasty comparison.

Oh, by the way, be seeing some of you at Common ground, five sleeps to go!

Gawd it would be impossible to burn anything here at the moment, I think it would even be difficult to light a cigarette. Its positively soggy and miserable out there. There are king tides and the whole beach is underwater, and its constant rain today. It was like this yesterday though, but cleared up nicely at night for all night partying. Lots of twirling going on. I went home at 4 am covered in soot marks.
Still having a damn good time though!
the pics just got put onto CD so I will post a few more on my website in the next day or three. Internet here is pretty expensive so maybe when I get to Chiang Mai...
