Just thought I would say hello and do an intro thingy and hopefully meet some nice friendly spinny-type people



Name : Amanda, though I do answer to Fidget, "Oi you" and Thingy

Age : 29 (I still get asked for id in pubs but I no longer get cheap bus fares)

Location : Oxfordshire - about six miles south of Oxford, would be lubberly to meet up with other likeminded folks but will scour round for "meet up" messages in a bit

Occupation : Admin for an environmental consultancy, apparently we save the planet, though I can't imagine how with the amount of rubbish these people throw out and energy they waste

Your favourite website/s: My bookmark is long but I change my mind often, if I tell you now I'd have changed my mind by the time I post this

Favourite Toys : poi, only poi. I have tried to learn how to juggle on numerous occasions and they always end up on the floor or hurtling at high speed towards anyone who says "it's not really that difficult", staff look fun but I foresee great injury

How long ? Started last year but had my confidence knocked out of me (an unlit fire poi thigy hit me on the back of the head and that was the last straw), picked them up again a couple of weeks ago

Hobbies : anything outside, dancing around like a loon, magic, music, being alive, I've spent too long being a hermit and now I'll turn anything into a hobby.

Favourite movies : Hmm, again, got lots and my mind changes often... Labyrinth is the best film EVER, X-Men films are good and I'll watch Finding Nemo for a giggle "I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine, and he shall be my Squishy"

Favourite books : Charles de Lint short stories suit my attention span

Favourite music : Anything from Outkast to Emilie Autumn and lots in between, I hang my head in shame when I admit that I like McFly though

Favourite quotes : *whibble*

Favourite food : Pickled ginger, I'll eat it straight from the jar

Least favourite food : Okra, slimey and sticky and generally yuck

Favourite colour : PINK, purple, mossy green, brown, again, depends on my mood blah, blah, blah...
