I hate doing sit-ups and push-ups.

But they keep my tummy flat and my arms strong.

So someone tell me to do them. Please?

(It helps if you motivate me with flaming Whips and such. ubbangel)

keep that back straight on those push ups,,, no sticking your bum up.
and keep that back straight on the sit ups too.
seriously you don't want a bad back stick to crunches they are less contraindicatory.

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

my parents used to pay me to do sit ups as insentive.....until i ran low on cash and started doing a few sets of 100 each day just to get more money!

(Actually I find situps boring (and hard on my back), so I do a whole lot of other things that don't take any more time but are more interesting.)

Dude, if they're boring, just watch TV or listen to music while doing them.

But don't think about doing anything exciting while you're doing sit ups, or you'll probably get distracted and do exciting stuff instead.

How about if you go look at those pics of those buff men who obviously do a zillion situps a day as well. Can you put a picture of them up in front of you as an incentive? Go to one of those flagging pages filled with ribbed abdoonic goodness. wink

If I told you to do your situps, I would be a hipocrite... wink

I get my tummy exercise by diaphram breathing, instead of using intercostal muscles to breath.

I get a lot of flack cause people think I'm fat for it... but I believe it massages the internal organs and keeps them healthy.. as opposed to keeping everything rigid all the time.

And you'll never get constipated using diaphram breathing. eek

i do my exercises at the side of the pool when nobody's in it (generally before 11)

together we could do situps, pushups, supermans, 1 footed calf raises, rev pushups etc.
