Posted:If an animated GIF is greater than 500px wide and/or 500px height then it will struggle making it smaller to fit on the page.
Also it will lose many compression techniques in the process, and could make it look aweful and a much larger file size.

Best if you can upload an animated GIF within those domensions stated above so the software will leave it alone.
